Help guys, I think I messed up in NWN!

Post by duckdown »

Hi all

I just purchased this game because its come down in price, and I completed chapter one.. but i realized i made a mistake!

The guy who welds your weapons with magical items.. I can't get back to him, because I'm in friggin Fort Llayd or whatever its called.. The blacksmith there (in some thing called the cracked anvil) has an anvil behind him, but you can't select it.. and the guy in chapter one would look at your items and tell you what he can make.. can someone please tell me how to get back to him, because my weapon STINKS and i've got tons of magic items!! Please get back to me ASAP

thanks all

You can't go back, though if you really want to you could export your character and replay chapter 1.

Neverwinter Nights is modular build.
Each chapter is based on modules that are basically a game in their own. (Chapter 2 is divided into 2 also), so as Noober says, you can't go back once you gone forward.

However a very small spoiler

The weapons created in chapter 1 are +1 weapons. In Chapter 2 you should be able to find +2 weapons rather fast via purchase. And in some cases you can find +3 weapons there, so I wouldn't sweat it to much.

Also in chapter 3 you will find another blacksmith, that can make the same weapons as the chapter 1 could, but as +2 weapons.

So I woulndn't say you have messed up, but you should just continue to play and try to find a +2 weapon soon, even if you had the +1 from the blacksmith in chapter 1.
