Virgil faints

Post by jazzo »

I am in Caladon sewers and Virgil just keeps fainting. Whenever he (or I)restores his fatigue points, 40 of them dissapears and he "faints". The fatigue points go to minus 40. I removed all the equipment from him (magick and non-magick) but nothing seems to help.

:confused: :confused: :confused:

Sounds like he's casting something that takes his fatigue all the way down. Is he suffering from anything like poison?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

No. His bloodline is red. Although every time he loses fatigue a flaming pentagram appears under him. That is why I removed all the magickal items from him, thinking that this would help.

Problem solved... I somehow overlooked Virgil's boots. Unidentified boots turned out to be "Boots of the Dark Toll" (whoever he/she is) with stats: dx(+2), Fatigue DOT. What does the DOT stand for? Anyway these boots just "devoured" Virgil's fatigue.

Thanks anyway

DOT = Damage Over Time

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."
