Editing with NearInfinity

Post by Skuld »

Well I got to level 7 before I found out that there are special abilities gained at levels 7 and 12, but for only one class. I'd like for it to be mage as I'm now level 5. Here's my situation. I can change my level 7 Fighter/5 Mage to a 6 Fighter/6 Mage, but the experience points aren't redistributed. How do I go about making that work? I hope someone out there as some NI experience and can help me out, or if there's another editor out there lemme know. Thanks

Well, experience is a different stat from level. I don't know where the experience for the two currently-not-as classes are stored...

But if you do get that problem solved, there is something else you need to change as well. I'm pretty sure the game will remember you reached level 7 as Fighter first unless you set the global variable "Specialist" back to 0.

Well the only reference to XP I could find was cumulative, so I just set my levels back to what they're supposed to be 7 Fighter/5 Mage. But I did manage to find the "Specialist" variable after much scrolling and set it to 0. I hope that will work.
