Trist Quest

I guess i got it backwards by talking to Lenny first and then going to talk to Byron later on. i saved my game, and now when i talk to the Head in the warehouse it doesn't give me the option for the code words to get Trist's papers. is this a bug? is there any way i can get it to display those dialogue options?

any answers would be greatly appreiciated.

an update

i tried reinstalling Torment, as well as play with the Near Infinity program but have yet to find a way to get these dialogue options.. i guess i'm going to have to skip this quest.
