keys...
Do I really need all these keys, skulls, rat tails, and seemingly other mundaine stuff? Wow, I've been playing for way too long, but not gonna stop now. I wanna get some go fetch type quests outta the way.

Some of the stuff you're collecting can be sold, and some of it is probably worthless. Here are some suggestions (without spoiling too many things):
Keep six rat tails in your inventory. One character you meet will trade them for an item you might want to have.
One character you'll meet (he's someone you HAVE to meet to proceed with the game) will ask you for a skull. A wererat skull might do, but you might prefer to offer him a different skull. I can't think of any other uses for a skull offhand.
Keep a piece of junk in your inventory. It serves as a "key" to one of the portals you'll come across. Sigil is the "City of Doors", and as several NPCs will tell you, almost anything could serve as a "key".
The keys to the Mortuary aren't crucial as long as you can get in and out. There's an item that serves as "key" to one of the portals (I think it's a fingerbone). Most of the stuff you picked up in the Mortuary is useless once you have looked at it. For example, the Receiving Log is of interest only because you can read the entry for the Nameless One. I think it contains a clue about the way that he ended up in the Mortuary. (Pharod's people found his body and took it the Mortuary, stripping it of everything but 13 coppers and some Fist Irons, which you can recover from a nearby cupboard.) The other notes offer other similar clues. For instance, how do you open the triangular ring? When you first begin the game, a few coppers and a few bandages and a few simple weapons (such as an old legbone that you can use as a club) might come in handy; but if you have no more use for them, you don't need to keep them.
Did you see "The Post" outside the Mortuary in front of the Dustman Bar? The Post is holding a notice that tells you about a self-important bureaucrat who is on a mission to exterminate rats, and if I'm not mistaken, he would be very interested in looking at your rat tails. Ask him to tell you his life story. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a game.

Well I met the guy that needed a skull, I gave hi Seogo's skull. I'm asuming it's the guy who stole Morte. I opened the portal that requires junk. And I think I sold all my rat tails to Mebbeth. I can always get more or buy 'em back. But the items I don't know if I should keep are the Tome of Bone and Ash and Moridor's Ruby. I think they're worth 120 and 150 respectvely, but the tome says it might be good to refer back to later on in the game or something. I dunno about the ruby. Oh wait, if the beurocrat is the dude in the Vermin Control Office I've talked to him. One more question, what about quest I can't finish for whatever reason. Like somehow I misplaced the Ornate Box I was supposed to deliver to the warehouse guy. And I've talked to Chad a dozen times now, and killed every Abergouille, or whatever they are, I can find. I've even gone back down to kill any I may have missed. I think that covers it.

Yes, the guy who stole Morte is the one I was referring to. Did you notice that the skull he asked you to find is the Nameless One's skull?
Think of the tales that it could tell...
I was also referring to the guy at the Office of Vermin Control. Did you see his basement?
The Tome of Bone and Ash will tell you how to deactivate the Armored Skeletons in the Mortuary. (If it's in your inventory, the game assumes that you can read it when the time comes.) I don't think there's any other way to use it. A merchant might give you a gold piece for it.
I can't remember every step in the Moridor's Box quest (which takes you all over the Hive). But since you have the Ruby, I think you have completed the quest. You're supposed to find someone who can open the box and dispose of it safely. Did you take it to the old cathedral in the Valley of Dangerous Angles? If I recall correctly, when the box is destroyed, you get the Ruby. There's a Mage south of Mebbeth's hut who wants a Ruby, and I think he'll give you 300 or 500 gold pieces for it.

Well I haven't been able to get into the Vermin control guy's basement, but i'll try it. I'll look for that mage near Mebbeth's house too. And I went through the mortuary without using the book at all. Are you sure you're not refering to the Armoured Skeltons guarding the Silent King's hall? Oh, and in order to get the finger from that guy in Ragpicker Square where do I find a body to give him? One more thing, are there priests in this game and if sowhere can I train to be one. And I'm not quite sure how the multi/dual class systems works in this game, so is it a good idea? I think I'm a level 7-8 figther as of now.

You have to accept a quest to get into the basement of the Vermin Control office. Just keep talking to the guy and see if he'll ask you to do something for him.
I'm certain that the Tome of Bone and Ash will let you disarm the Armored Skeletons at the Mortuary. (You get 800 experience points for each one, which is very nice.) I don't know of any way to disarm the guards who guard the Silent King's hall.
To get the fingerbone from Marrow-Fiend, you have to do some things that a normal person would never do. But the Nameless One is not exactly a normal person, is he? Lots of people refer to him as a "walking corpse", including Marrow-Fiend. Do you see where this is going? Marrow-Fiend likes to eat corpses, and he gets hungry just looking at the Nameless One, so...
There is an NPC Priest in the game who can join your party, but the Nameless One cannot become a Priest. Take your pick between Fighter, Mage, or Thief, or try a couple or all three. One of the nice things about switching classes in PS:T is that when you switch to a Thief or a Mage, you retain all of the benefits of being a Fighter (although your weapons are limited to those useable by a Mage or a Thief)--THAC0, weapon specialization, etc. I put as many points as I can into Fists and Daggers. There's something really cool about a character who fights hand-to-hand and wears rings and tattoos instead of armor.
One thing you need to be aware of is that you get a specialization bonus when you reach 7th Level. The benefits are different for each of the classes. You can also get a specialization bonus at 12th Level, but ONLY if you advance to 12th Level in the same class that received the 7th Level specialization bonus. You'll want to get both bonuses. If you got the Fighter's 7th Level bonus, go ahead and become an 11th Level Mage if you desire, but switch back to a Fighter and advance to 12th Level before you level up to 12th Level as a Mage. Check out your stat increases, and look at the new tattoos that will appear in Fell's shop.
Here's a big hint. Annah can train you to be a Thief. In other words, you can have a trainer in your own party. If you want to become a Thief, just talk to her. There's also an NPC in the game who is a Fighter/Mage. Guess what that means?
The Priest NPC cannot train you to be a Priest, but she has other redeeming qualities.
The question you should ask is, what do you want the Nameless One to be? There are places where you can earn unlimited experience, and you can change classes any time you want. But keep this in mind: the Nameless One is on a voyage of self-discovery, and his class is not the most important factor in his development. I think your focus should be on learning as much as you can about EVERYTHING in the game. Enjoy it.

Regarding Moridor's Box and Moridor's Ruby. Since you left the Hive (Mar says not to without getting rid of the box), the box was destroyed and the demon within it was freed once you entered the Lower Ward (though you don't see him at that point when the box is destroyed via this method). All it leaves is the Ruby.
To VonDondu (Spoilery); (Just to let you know, that certain thing still happens later if you do this.)
IIRC, you can also pickpocket the Vermin control guy for the key to his basement.
