Importing characters

Post by Oven »

Hi,

as far as I recall then I believe that I read that you can import character from Baldur's Gate II into Neverwinter Nights and while browsing this forum I have also read that you can import characters from NWN to SoU and so on.

How?

Importing from BG2 to NwN was cancelled early in the development process of NwN, and is not possible.

Importing from NwN to SoU and/or HotU can be done by saving your character, and then starting a new game (either NwN, SoU or HotU ... or any other module you wish to play) and selecting premade characters, and then the character you wish.

Okay, thanks alot.

Another question, how can I use that console where you have to add 'debug mode=1' under game options, when I have no game options in the neverwinter nights.ini?

You dont have to edit any ini file, that's for Baldur's Gate (II).

Type ##DebugMode 1 in the talk screen.
(watch the capitol letters and the space)

then you can give the DungeonMaster commands.
(also starting with ##)

To switch off type: ##DebugMode 0
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
