Dragons (HoTU)

Post by Raumoheru »

i went into the underdark and i saw a old blue dragon in the middle of a room with tons of traps. it looked like he was covered in stone so i left him alone until i got all the traps disarmed and then i attacked him.

i was very disapointed, he was easier then the drow warriors i have been fighting and he only took about 1/4 of my health. arent dragons supposed to be really strong? or at least stronger than drow?

My first character in HotU got eaten alive by that dragon.

How difficult creatures are to beat is depending on many things. the classes of the character you are playing, henchmens following (if any), luck in the battle (with attack rolls, spell resistance rolls etc) and so on.

Dragons should be more difficult then a drow, but you rarely face off with one drow, instead one usually faces a minimum 4 or so, and of different classes. So an encounter with the drows, might be more difficult compared with a dragon due to the number of drows alone.

Dragons are not meant to be great challenges for epic characters, with the exception of epic dragons (Prismatic and Force). And Drow as a race are actually stronger then humans, elves etc.
