Hi,
Can somebody explain me how dose vorpal weapon works in HotU ?
It goes something like “on hit: Vorpal DC-18”

"On-Hit Vorpal DC-18" means that when you hit they must make a save (I think its reflex) against a DC of 18 or die (decapitated). I don't think it affects characters/creatures immune to criticals.

Maybe I didn’t notice, but they don’t die more often since I use that weapon.
Will there be any comment’s, failed/success save? Or as when you made a sneak attack?

A reflex save seems a bit strange, I'd say it's a fortitude save.
But that is speculated on my d&d knowledge, I don't have HotU.

The DC of 18 is quite low so I doubt it made an significant difference (there is probably only a 5% chance of kill).
A reflex save seems a bit strange, I'd say it's a fortitude save.


Like I said I'm not completely certain. I'm pretty sure that in PnP it's a fortitude save, but in NWN it's a reflex (avoid having you head sliced)
