@fable: You are correct. I have read the Gospels (as they are in the Bible of mainstream Christianity) over and over in the past, as well as reading other, "non-canonical" writings popularly attributed to apostles and witnesses during that particular time period, and never have I once found an inference to homosexuality in any statement attributed to Jesus Christ.

It is obviously forbidden by Mosiac Law however, and as most know Paul was a Jew of the Pharisees, a rather harsh sect of Judiasm that eventually evolved into the Rabbis of the present day (teachers of the Law). They were diametrically opposed to the Saducees, who interpreted the Law in a much more liberal manner. If anyone has any question regarding Paul's outlook on the Law, then I refer them to the book of Acts, where it is written that Paul was endorsing some young men undertaking vows at the Temple. ;)

@Fable(if your still reading)- Ooohh, I get a blue star! :D What does it do? Can it cast magic missle, oh wait, no :( WAIT! IS IT THE BLUE STAR OF SUMMON FABLE! How many uses does it have! I wanna use it NOW! Oh, I forgot that you wanted to know if Jesus said it. I dont recall, but I will look.

@Kayless-good idea bro

@Guy who flamed the Holy Word of God- Im sorry you feel that way an I will pray for you. I want you all to know that I pray for all of you. You probably take that with a grain of salt, but I really mean it. And yes, I got very angry when I saw your post. I would not post something that talked about burning the works of all the great scientists in the world so I would not expect anyone to say that about the Holy Bible. Just look at me and CM, we have different views but we have never flamed each other (well he almost did once :rolleyes: ) Oh well, I think Im due for a break from SYM also.

One more thing before I go back to the nice white room w/padded walls.
@Viscun- You said something about why people would follow the Bible if they know its probably been tampered w/and such. Well, for me, its a matter of faith. I know that sounds thin and sounds like an excuse, but sometimes, I do not know why the Lord does the things he does or how, but I do know that I trust him w/all my heart, mind and soul. So, I think the Bible is as the Lord wants is simply because it is. And if it has been tampered with, there is a little disclaimer in the Book of Revelation warning against that and that anyone who tampers w/it will experience the terror of Hell. So, like I said, its a matter of faith.
