Ok :-)

So, I have been talking with the Elder Brain, and he wants me to help him get a mirror for him and then he will ally with the rebels.

What mirror?

Quote from the walkthough: "he wants the mirror you got from the Avariel"

Who is Avariel?

I don't seem to have any mirror and can't recall ever getting one.
The journal don't help much either as it doesn't say where to get it.

Can anyone help?

Spoiler - Highlight to read:

One of the quests to weaken the Valsharess involved the City that appeared overnight; as the Boat Man in the drow "outcast"/rebel city mentions (can't remember his name).

After doing the quests there, you will be rewarded with a mirror, the mirror the Ilithid wants.

I actually, again figured it out by myself after I posted, as I travelled to that village after my visit at the Illithids, so when I heard something about a mirror and stuff, I began putting 1 and 1 together :-)

I just think there should have been a hint of some sort, no matter if I would have discovered it anyway as it seems to be part of the main quest or atleast the area is.
