how do you use these? I try to do as the tomes say but it doesn't work... Please help

YOu use them like chests.

By clicking on them you should be able to place things in them, and after that you can cast spells on them.

some alchemists aparaturs give healing potion if you have special items/ other create rods or staves or rings etc.
you must collect these items, put into aparature, and cast proper spell

All alchy.tables/wizard chest should be able to give the same items/potions.

It is dependent on what ingredients you place and what spell you cast on it.

I have placed the proper items on the apparatus and cast the proper spell but it still does not work... I am casting it on the apparatus itself..Is this correct?
For example:
quartz crystal and skeleton knuckle and cast mage armor on the table? And it mentions something about an amulet? Do I need to add this or is that what it makes?
