Curing Disease

I'm doing ok so far at clearing out the moathouse in Hommlet, but after a few battles, my whole party is diseased! I can't afford the 200+ gold per person that everyone in town is charging. Any suggestions?

Just try to get to a spot on your map where you can rest freely (a green-resting tent icon) and choose either Rest Until Healer or just keep resting for the 8 hours until it gets cured. I am pretty sure that the diseases can be cured by fortitude saves, which happen every day when you are diseased or poisoned.

(I think the day's worth of time in the game is 8 hours...)

Yeah, so, overall, you should be able to just sleep it off. Tell me if it doesn't work ^_^

umm. the whole "wait it out" thing is definetley NOT working for me. my characters were diseased w/ 'filth fever' and one (my damn cleric) is losing -dex- as a result of 'waiting it out'. I could sell my 'heal' scrolls, and have jaroo heal, but id rather figure out another method.....any ideas?! THANKS!!

Are you just passing time or actually sleeping? Sleeping until healed cures everything but being Deaded. The trouble with resting is unless it's in a safe place, I get attacked again which is of no use. The oly places that are totally safe, that I've found so far, are the Inn Of The Welcome Wench and the tower at the moathouse (the one formally occupied by a spider)
