Experience penalty on easy?

Do you get an experience penalty for playing the game on easy?
And do you get more for playing it on a harder setting?

i think theres a small xp penalty for playing easy. moderate gives you normal xp but the hard setting gives you the same as moderate.

Well you can test it out rather easy.
Start 2 games with the same character - one on easy and one on normal and check your XP from killing the Goblins in the prelude?
