You know lady watever that is dead in that big chess board,Well is there any thing you can do there with the pawns or something?

As for your question, I think the pawns are connected to the traps, but I*ve not investigated them much because all I do there is pick up the weapon.

No.
She is "part" of the Tanglebrook(sp?) Estate "quest" wich basically is a way into the prison withouth using the front gate.

Nothing more.
