[MOD] All NPCs at the Beginning

Post by Filipe_FR »

This Mod changes the location of most of the NPCs, so that you can recruit them at the beginning of the game.

Cool,
this will make alot of NPC's alot more interesting.
I never take NPC's after cloackwood, cause then I already have a full party.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Same for me Image

Don't you thing that Coran (level 3, TAC0=10 if your character is only level 1) is too strong to be engaged at the beginning ?

Do you thing I have to put him (and some more characters that are level 2) back to a lower level ?

Don't know,
you have a point there.
Maybe just before you enter the nashkel mines.
At that point you're atleast level2, then they wont be so over powered (althoug Coran is alwas overpowered), but you can take them with you to the mines
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

I'd say that you put all just after Candlekeep (maybe the friendly arm inn?) and put everyone to like 750XP-1500XP or something like that...... I havn't played your mod yet but if I did something like this I would probably put 'em in FAI.......

BTW I usually leave one slot open when entering BG to have a NPC that I just feel like having when I enter the big gate...... but then again Tiax rules all :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I put the 'laughter' back in 'slaughter'

I normally move around with GateKeeper to pick up my NPCs and then move us all back to Candlekeep and start off. You just have to be careful of the timelimits (taking care of the Mines/Freeing Dynaheir in 10 days etc).
