Over half the computers I work with are like this due to the fact thier all located in these damn manufacturing areas....

HLD the problem is I work for a non IT friendly company... They wont spend the cash to upgrade the machines let alone spend the money on using me to set up something of that sort.

2 IT employees (and One DBA anda DBA assistant)

350+ End nodes.

500+ Employee's.

Four buildings.

Yuck. Seriously, yuck. I've seen a few machines in that condition, and none of them worked at all.

Does that machine still actually run?

Hell no I ripped the HD out of it and piggy backed it to another machine, tossed the rest out.

That's pretty bad, we've had machines in the past that have severe amounts of fluff in every orrofice but nothing that bad. Although fluff is more of a fire hazard but that is just disgusting. How long, approx, have those machines been running?
