How to defeat Greater Wolfware

Post by Henrik Larsson »

They have fast regeneration and in W...... Hills, inside the dungeon I have to kill like 3 or 4 of them.

I killed one but I just can't kill the others.Their HP come to badly wounded or Near death but next moment they are uninjured again.

Any advice?

This is the group in Firkaag's dungeon I presume... they are a tough bunch. Power and especially speed are very important here. Cast haste and cast improved haste at your meleeguys. Your timing has to be good though, because improved haste doesn't last very long. Also, improve the strength of your fighters. Cast all buffspells that'll improve your chances at hitting your opponents.

If that doesn't work go for cheese. Use a lot of summons to keep them busy while you pump 'em full of arrows (of biting, preferably).

Or cast confusion or dire charm and the like. The greater wolfwere's have high magic resistance (which you could lower as well) but the other animals in the group don't.

Position your party just behind the doorway. That way, you can take them out one by one. It would be even better if you could lure one of them through the doorway, shut the door and beat the crap out of him. Repeat until all wolfweres are furry toast.

Good luck! :)

I was frustrated by these guys, too. When I posted a few months ago, I was told it was a bug in the game.(shrug)

I just lead them into a room and slam the door; I'm not going to waste time and effort on them any more.

Yes, it must be a bug.
I killed them all right, but only when I quit the game and reloaded.
This time they weren't regenerating so quickly and I was able to wipe them out.
