Jade Dog?

Post by Mr. Sprinkles »

I heard that a Jade Dog figurine could be found somewhere in the game. I know where the Gold Lion, Moon Dog, and Black Spider are, but not this one. Has anyone ever come across it? And if so, what does it do? :o
I saved Suldanesellar from destruction, and all I got was this stupid amulet.

If I remember right....you can't get it unless you cheat it in.

The code is misc3F.

Jade Hound:

Jade Hound Figurine

The origin of this item is tied to a melancholy ode popular in human taverns, about a young elven boy lost in a great wood. A spirit supposedly befriended him, providing companionship through the astral hound summoned by this figurine, but the boy eventually succumbed to loneliness anyway. Critics may ask how an elf could get lost in his own wood, but that and other discrepancies have not stopped the story from being retold. The item's real history has been buried beneath the fiction.

STATISTICS

Special Abilities: Summon Astral Hound for five minutes, once each day, with the following abilities:
1 and 1/2 attacks per round for 2d4, 20% chance to Level Drain, 20% chance to Slow, non-cumulative.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

You can only get the Gold Lion Figurine if you are a druid and completes the druid stronghold quest.

It doesn't make sense for the designers to include an item that you can get only by cheating. It must be located somewhere...

I haven't found it, maybe someone else has.

As for including stuff....the tombs are not in the game, but you can cheat them in as well. Or if their in the game I haven't found them either.

It's definetly not the reward for saving Suldanesellar, otherwise I wouldn't have this signature. ;)
