I did it once- but i forgot how to pass Anodra in chapter 2...
i tried to talk to ellium (the village elder) but he just didn't let me through!
IIRC when i went through Andora the other time, i got ellium convinced from my cleric of lathender that he should let me pass, after i told ellium he hould leave the cold goddess and start going after lathander, but now i don't have a cleric of lathender...
can anybody help me? (i don't want to start a fight with the rangers if it's not the only opratunity)
ur'e supposed to get a cut-scene with Shernical killing the panther-druid, thus informing you of the aliance between the aurilites and her, and freeing you from any moral obligations re. the village.
PS remember, in 3ed rangers and druids can be evil...
I've read elsewhere that you can pass Andora peacefully (which is what I wanted since my main character is a ranger) by having certain levels of charisma and/or diplomacy, but it didn't work for me with a 16 Ch and an 8 diplomacy, so I'm not sure what it takes.
From what I read, it only works with a ranger or druid, but it didn't work with my ranger, so who knows.
I just didn't like the encounter because it didn't seem like there was any reason for my good party to slaughter these rangers and druids, and I would have liked a peaceful option for role playing purposes.

i also have a good party, and i agree with all of what you said...
You can also intimidate Illium You say something like you massacred the goblin army at Shaengarne ford, and that Illium's little scavenger pack is nothing compared to them. Then Illium lets pass because he doesn't want to end up dead
