I have a hard disk which partitioned into three drives. I re-installed IWD + HoW yesterday to the "Game" drive, which also contained BG2 and Morrowind. Now, I cannot start any of them. It says "This program has performed illegal operation and will be shut down", and doesn't even load the titles.
I did "uninstall-reinstall" IWD, but didn't help. Norton's System Check doesn't detect any problem whatsoever. I haven't changed any configuration of my computer or Windows (98se) setup for some time, nor downloaded anything significant. I can use programmes in the other drives, such as Word and even FreeCell, without problem.
Any help?
Thanks in advance.

Well I never recommend partitioning HDD since DOS days due several probs. Hence my partitioning troubleshooting is very limited. Anyway can you explore the "Game" Drive using Windows explorer ? You might want run Norton Disk Doctor to verify any prob with the drive partitions.
Some suggestions : Creating subdirectory under the main directory i.e Games for game software then install the whole game softwares under Games dir is a better way rather than split partition the HDD. The main reason I never partition my HDD or any my customers HDD is some time the partition got corrupted and you can't access the data in it. If you got corrupted partition it's hard to save the data in it
