Disappearing Items

Sometimes after battle i lose items that i'm wearing. they just disappear. i can't find them on the ground or anything. Examples of the items are: Greenstone Amulet (i wear), scimitar +1 that jaheira was using. and a couple of others i can't remember right now.

any ideas on what the problem is? any patches to stop this?

-When your party members run around in fear/confused, they sometimes lose their possessions.

-If enemy wizards summoned Nishruu/Hakeashar, they might have eaten your magical items or drain charges (ie. from wands), causing them to be destroyed.

As far as I know, both are legitimate and not a bug (the latter is in the manual), so no patch will fix it. I don't know if there's a mod for that.

You can sk in the missing items if you feel you have been wrongly dispossessed.

I do that alot of times, when a monster destroys my items,
cause i always find out much later cause i keep forgettign to check for it.
