hey guys..
i m finished with the game and i was thinkin about the monsters i summoned and their uses to me..
it seems like sword spiders that nalia spawned are really effective in combat. they have a very great attack rate (12-16 damage per attack) and they seem to hurt like an +3 weapon, but i m not really sure about that.
the enemy mages had a lot of problem with the sword spiders too. now my question is does anyone have any stats for a sword spider (ac, thaco, +? weapon etc.)
thx for the help.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Ok, I <crtl> Q'd a couple of these things into my party, and found that they did indeed have a THACO of 15, and 5 attacks/round.

creature.bif file for the summoned sword spiders (ally) states that:
STR 14, other 9, AC 3, thac0 15, attacks 4, HP 45, CE, saving throws 11 - 14, resistances none
These values do not take into account magic items and/or weapons. My own experience says that the stats are, in fact, way better (for example thac0 or resistances/saving throws).

Quite true. The summoned sword spider is wearing a ring (what is a spider doing with a ring, anyway?Originally posted by Radek:
