Does it cause your entire system to freeze, or just DS?

Either way, check your event log to see if an application hang has been reported. If so, it might offer some information as to the cause.

The application event log records all that information. You should be able to access it through the administrative tools on the control panel. If you can post the relevant entries for me I should be able to find what's causing that.
