So, I got around to downloading the TDD new mod, and everything worked fine, so I also got the valen and soal mods...
then the Ascension mod.
Everything was fine til I brought in the Val and Soal Mods, Now, where the extra kits for each group should be, it repeats the name of the last group, ie) Kensai 6 times in the fighter group, and stranger still, instead of a description, it has dialogue from Haer'Dalis....
Help
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.
TDD takes up basically all of the game's allotment of kits. You will need to uninstall the kit components of the Solaufein and Valen mods. The rest of the portions of the mods (including the main NPC portions) should be fine.

hmm, I never both installing mods or patchs (except for the patch to fix TOB bugs that made the game unbeatable) since I fear that bugs like that could happen.
I have heard about some popular mods not being able to mix with each other and some mods being for SOA or TOB only. that might be your problem.
Remember, being Evil in Baldur's Gate 2 is VERY fun...
Actually, there is an exceedingly high degree of interoperability between intelligently designed mods.
The clash between the kits is really nobody's "fault", it's just that TDD happens to offer SO MANY kits that you cannot add any others.
