Well Ladies and gentlemen, I recieved today an interesting assignment from my history teacher.
We are to compose a tour, acting as the Canadian foreign affairs office, for a variety of international groups. The tour must visit all 6 Canadian regions. Atlantic, Central, Prairies, North etc, and be at least 14 days.
The groups are as follows.
A delegation from Germany who are interested in new mineral sources.
One for Uranium, one for fossil fuels, and one specializing in coal and hydro.
Secondly, A japaneses contruction group who want contracts to make shopping malls and acquiring Steel and lumber.
Next, a Greenpeace group to asses our environment.
A teaching group from england looking for good places to start a 1 yr teaching exchange.
and finally, a delegation from Somolia looking for relief of any kind, food, grain, tech equipment etc.
So, I throw this out to the gamebanshee assembly. Many of you are professionals and some may be in these fields. If you have suggestions please make them.
An interesting Assignment.
An interesting Assignment.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.
So I just stood and listened.

As for the teacher's group...
... you may want to put these things into consideration:
1. Level - primary, secondary, tertiary and/or postgrad studies
2. Subject Area - math, science, language, IT, etc.
3. Learning style - montessorri, traditional classroom setting, tracking, distance learning, child-centered approaches, etc.
4. Mainstream, Special Education, vocational/technical, public school, etc.
... among other things.
I'm not familiar with the educational system of your country but I figured you might as well set up an itinerary of learning institutions that would be representative of a particular aspect targetted by the delegation from England...
...just my 2-centavo-worth of ideas.

I don't get it - this is more of a geography exercise, no?
Germans - go to mines/areas of natural resources
Japanese - Toronto, Vancouver, maybe economically growing areas
Greenpeace - both urban and rural areas for a balanced assessment
England - Cities? Villages? Interesting places like Quebec - the kids ger more of a chance to speak french. Parents won't want their kids in the cold North.
Somalai - Where will they obtain relief? Cities, Perhaps farming areas.
Its so broad, you have to ask what the objectives of each group are then match them with suitable locations. Constrained merely by time & distance - you can double up some visists/locations. Think about the time it takes to fly across Canada and visit some of the more remote locations.
