Everybody knows it's coming. There are movie clips from the game somewhere too! Looking good... but high tech stuuf.
I doubt most people will have a PC that can run a game with such amazing graphics. They're just too much. .
Should be interesting as Doom 3, Unreal Tournament, and I believe a Quake game are coming out sometime.

The PC game I had the most fun with was: X-Com UFO Defense. You know you are playing a masterpiece of a game when your heart is racing and the hair on your arms is standing up. This game scared the crap out of me - in a good way. I played till the wee hours of the morning for weeks straight. Great story, gameplay, graphics (for its time) and strategy galore.
Best roleplaying game had to be Planescape Torment - Although I only played through it once - most cohesive and immersive story of the infinity engine games.
Game I played the most - hands down Baldurs Gate II. I must have played through this game six of seven times with a full party and at least 5 times solo.
Multiplayer - Red Alert - had a lan in the computer training room of the store I worked at. We would get 8-10 people together every Sunday morning before the store opened and wage total war on one another.

Damn straight. Ive been looking for fellow fans of this game.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

I forgot one - and this one is going waaaaayyyyyy back to the land of MS-Dos and 8088s with dual 5 1/4 floppies (that really were "floppy" - go figure ):
The game was Starflight - I literally played this game until the sun came up the next morning. I was in college at the time and ditched class for an entire week to play this game. I didn't have a life then either.

PS: Torment, so awsome, every time I play it I find some new little thing.
Deus Ex, so much fun till I lost the CD
BG2, need i say more
Max Payne, bullet time is fun
Half Life, the only game thats ever made me jump
If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach
I didn't like Max Payne. The graphics were aweful. The baddies looked the same, acted the same. The levels were all the same, very dull and badly done. There were no M-16's, AK-47's or Rocket Launchers. How do you make a decent shoot em' up without big time guns. It may not be realistic to have machine guns for cops and the mob, but it ain't fun either.

Thats a great game!! I forgot to name it (and starcraft too).
But the bad guys look pretty good to me!
The game looks beautyfull and the gameplay rocks!
@kid, King of The Beach
Is that the game where you play volleyball on the beach (2vs2) and you can argue with the ref?
If so, that one is VERY ccol too!

"They're only kobolds!"
So he kills kittens? Nothing to fear about that. (CM about Foul on SYM)
"Hey Beldin ! I don't like your face !"
"Nevermore."
Another good one (or series): Space Quest.
'Elite' was great. I had that on my Acorn Electron, running off tape. Couldn't save any games, so had to leave it running for days (sometimes weeks) on end.
