Serious Question

Post by Graeye »

Has anyone found a way to even partially control henchpeople and familiars?

I've tried the "follow" command; I've tried the "stay closer to me" command . . . nothing works for me.

It's really frustrating when you open the door to a room full of critters, lob in a cloudkill and slam the door . . . only to have your trusty henchman yank the door open and go charging into the cloud (and certain death)!! Unbelievable !! There should be an "if you so much as twitch, I'll kill you myself" command.

I've played it 4 1/2 times so far and I would say NO!

Tommy seems the worst at this, and the others are only slightly better.

Hope I am not stating the obvious, but the between stand ground, follow, and attack nearest, I didn't have too much trouble with the henchmen. If they run off to combat, hit follow and back your character up.. 90% of the time they rush back out of battle. Stand ground worka most of the time as long as the henchman wasn't previously engaged in battle and can still see them. The attack nearest is probably the most frustrating because they don't always have the same perception that you do. Sometimes you have to engage the battle (with ranged weapon) and draw them toward your henchman.
