The worst way to spend a friday night

is being stuck at work till 8:30 doing someone elses work who dumps it on you as he is your superior. Just wait till monday she will get hers, and you wonder why I dont like women!!!!!!

Not to get personal - but in what way don't you like women? - I find them tolerable - not to mention most of them are soft and smell nice

The absolute worst way to spend a Friday night (barring torture and death - wait being tortured by the right person might be OK - see above) is the way I will be spending tonight:

Watching some garbage movie on the Lifetime network. (My wife is sick and I am staying home with her - she only watches sex in the city, law and order, and the lifetime network).

For any of you that have not experienced this travesty of a TV network - here are the grim details:
- Lifetime is the "network for women" and carries the most badly acted, formula-ized, boring, repetitive, inane, made for TV movies ever created. If I see one more movie where the husband beats his wife and she gets her revenge in the end, or the dying cancer victim saves her sisters marrage, or the other woman steals the husband away and the wife who is left behind fiind happiness - I will scream(and I will be screaming tonight).

This network's slogan should be - "The Lifetime Network - We take the worst aspects of the femine personality stereotype and put them on film"

Tell you what CM - I'll do your after hours work for you - for the next month - if you come to my house and watch this crap with my wife - remember - you have to pretend to be interested and resist the urge to make snide comments and/or go into a boredom induced coma.

Sure thing.
I am more than willing to that, after 3 months of trying to figure out how the heck to fix Afghanistan industry infrastructure, i would watch CNBC and CSPAN all day long for fun.
What you describe as torture is heaven compared to what i have had to go through.

Plus i do i get to hold the remote?

You just opened pandoras box.

They are annoying.
They ask question where what ever you answer you are in deep ****.
When with women you are in either ****, deep **** or hell i wish i was dead ****.
The only time a woman is nice is when she wants something.
They are not trustworthy, ever seen a woman tell her true age?

They are not trustworthy 2: With make up whoa what a beauty. Without make up the next morning, hell who threw up?

The worst way to spend a Friday night I can remember, was when I was locked in at my office by mistake...I was working late, and I was new, so I didn't have the alarm codes yet. It was the Friday before a longer holiday (Easter or Whitsun, I think)
When my then boss left, she didn't notice I was there, so she didn't tell me the front door was automatically locked at a certain time. When I was about to leave, I was simply locked in and couldn't get out without the code. I tried to ring several of my colleagues, but nobody was at home, so finally the fire department sent a car to get me out of the window on the 3rd floor. Very kind of them to save me from spending the entire holiday at the office....

As would I, if women were the only ones to act in this fashion. However, it's been my experience through more than 800 years of life, that men and women equally partake of such obnoxious habits. The best thing to do is line yourself up another job, prepare a letter to your boss' boss explaining why you're leaving, then quit on a weekend just as soon as your boss has given you all the extra work. Be sure your boss knows this, but don't tell her about the letter that you've prepared for his superior, and placed his mailbox.

Alternatively, you could speak to your boss and explain to her that you won't be doing her work, that you've got plans, and that if she has a problem with that, perhaps you could both discuss it--after she does her fair share of the work during any given week.

Head Cold, ear-holed from football (Any football knows what that is) multiple times, plus a sprained wrist, and forced to stay home because I can barely walk, meanwhile I'm missing multiple parties...

In some ways I agree with this....

(Btw.. the Worst way to spend a friday night is to be posting the worst ways to spend a friday night on a msg board, imo)

But I would hazard my own mad notion and its that,

Im not saying this is you, but ive seen it allot (Ive done it)

Men tend to get very bitter towards women who do them ill, due to the fact that your just told that you *Must* be nice to them, regardless.. so you suck it up and if its not becouse of outdated notions of chilvalry your parents nagged/beat into your skull its becouse you want to get laid

And this kind of one sided niceness is very good at building up the old bitterness muscles, not to mention the above facts make direct slurs on a woman more difficult so you generalise...

My advice is to go marry somone, you dont need to like her (but It does help) so then you only have to be horribly insipid around one woman and the rest can go to hell (Best damn thing I ever did)

But, ahh.. Boss'... once again, more advice...

RUN AWAY!!! DONT LOOK BACK!!!

Dammit man! Get yourself a small buisness, go dig holes for a living, become a monk.. whatever! just run away from office work and the coporate bollux it weilds like some kind of soul destroying hammer AND DONT LOOK BACK!!

OH well.. Im done giving 'good advice' lol.. like anything ive ever gotten in life had anything to do with wisdom and wise choices more like an inordinate amount of dumb luck, infact... so much so that in order for the universe to balance, ill probably die at fourty

Which would really annoy me couse ive always wanted to ***** about being forty.... (My mother made it look so fun)

I am in intern.
Finish on the 27th of sept and i think i will take the last week off to get ready for my masters program.
