Forgive the retoric...
I only wanted to share a special thought for the people burned away
on that second plane.
Why that one?
As many others, I saw it "live" on TV.
I think it was the first time I actually saw people die "before" my eyes.
Just a few seconds to see the plane on the screen, to realize they were
trapped in that tube and doomed to die, and that I could only watch.
I didn't know how many people there were on the building, but I imagined the
plane was full. I think I cried (not very "manly", I know...)
So, my first thought goes to those people again!
Always forward is my motto, but with some halts along the way, I should add.
Hope they'll build two new towers soon.
(again I must disagree with the Pope. Forgiveness for the terrorists?!?!
People ready to die themselves to kill randomly as much as possible!
I can't even imagine a greater disdain for the whole concept of life...)

Well I dont want to spam up the thread, but the first time I saw a life lost before my eyes was the crash and death of Dale Earnhardt. I see replays of that wreck and the wreck that cost Blaise Alexander to lose their life, and I dont think I can grasp the idea that I had witnessed a couple people dying in those car seats, easily. It is numbing. I am thankful that I never saw the 9/11 wrecks live on tv, because I know that would be so much more haunting......numbing. If I can hardly believe I witnessed the death of the two auto racers deaths live, I wonder how I would have felt witnessin 9/11 wrecks live. Its haunting.Originally posted by Littiz

I don't ever want to see anything like that again. Those that haven't should count themselves lucky. I say that those who are eager for more, have obviously never seen anything like it.

Who in the right mind would ever want to be eager for more of that? Those who are eager for more must be sick in the mind.

Well I was at high school. We heard the announcement on the intercom. And this was the first block. The rest of the day was a bunch of rumors and uncertainty. None of the tv's were on, but several people checked the internet. I really wasnt sure of the seriousness of the incident of Sept. 11th until I got home. My first concern was if my sister was alright and that my brother in law was ok, too. I acted really strange that day. Very cold, IMO. Something Im not terribly proud of. I dont know why I acted the way I did. Maybe it was the confusion, I just dont know.
