I am inclined to agree with CE......there are some tasteful (and very expensive) women's suits out there....but the standard off the rack variety are generally hideous.....

It has to be his dress shirt, too, because the outfit she was wearing the night before is hanging from the ceiling fan or had the buttons ripped off.Originally posted by Ned Flanders

@Wiwimu: Not in the Swedish ones, I can assure you. The Swedish ethnic costumes are to horrible to describe, take a look at this. Fortunately, very few people use then, and if so, only for special occations.
@Fable, With the currrent fasion for lowering waistbands it soon won't matter if the jeans are tight or not.....

*Attempt to ressurect thread I never had a chance to post on*
I come from a town where you already know anyone your going to meet, theres no 'first impressions' so no one tries to be flashy. Its very relaxing, and very good. Even if every kid who turns 18 litterally flees the town like its on fire (Thats good, I hate Kids)
I live in a town where on one knows anyone, everyone is alienated from each other, no one will aproach anyone so they try to make other people notice them, by spending 40 hours choosing clothes etc before going outside to pick up there mail
When the best way to get somone to notice you and likely, establish a rapore is to simply aproach them, with an attempt at non pretentios conversation
Go to a freakin hardware store and theres people lookin like they been getting ready fer hours...
Lemme put it this way... The common adage of forgetting somones name the morning after doesn hold true in a big city, infact.. You wont even recignize them, now tell me, how much sense does tHAT make?
This is my conclusion from my long and crappy post...
Less is more
If I see somone who is undoubtably attractive, yet not 'dressed up' or not in the days fashion etc.. I actually find it even more alluring, given that this person had the mental fortidude and confidence to wear something they find comfortable and basicly do what they want, it has long running implications as well, if you think a while, im sure youl get it
Granted, it may no have the same impact.. But it has a kind of rolling momentum, the more you think about it the better it is
