Jaheria in ToB

Post by hwttdz »

Can anybody direct me to a "walkthrough" for the Jaheria romance in ToB? For SoA sorcerers.net has two wonderful resources.

Oh for goodness sake! What next? Someone who needs a guide on beating Kobolds?

Look, it's very, very easy. Play all of ToB and you will see this. If you manage to screw it up, then you probably wouldn't have been able to read the walk through.

As far as I have experienced, there's nothing special about Jaheira's romance in ToB. Pretty straightforward. No baddies, quests or special events involved.
I have the impression romances in ToB are all uninspired and rather obligate.

Actually while we're on the subject of kobolds ... how do you kill them?

Back to reality. Is there a timer associated with the romace or is it random time? Are there any quests that must be completed in order to advance the romance? Is there a chapter qualification or disqualification for any of this? Does any of it warrant effort or should you be set just not worrying?

Especially those kobold commandos ...

I don't think there is anything special in TOB, I might be wrong but I think that if you managed through SOA, TOB romancing is easy as the NPC is already in love with you.

I find setting Boo free, hastening him and then have him use his "Improved Grab" ability works well. He can hold a couple dozen kobolds in his cheek pouches at once. If Boo is not in your party then have your mage use his fuzzy bunny or ferret familiar to kill them while the rest of the party naps.
Timestop and Triple chained ABhi Dhalzims are the only way I can beat the little suckers...

And that..
