With great pleasure and considerable relief, I announce the release of Kelsey-TOB V1, the Throne of Bhaal content portion for the Baldur's Gate 2 NPC/romance add-on character.

Kelsey adds dozens of dialogues, including party banters, interjections, and two romance tracks--one with the PC, one with Imoen.

Kelsey may be summoned by the Fate Spirits, or simply brought along with you from an existing game of Kelsey-SOA (also available for download in case you're not playing it yet!)

Kelsey-TOB is compatible with some of the more interesting mods out there, including Ascension and Solaufein. It is packaged as a self-extracting installer, and you do not need any extra tools to add Kelsey to your game. A special Ascension content add-on is provided for players with WeiDU Ascension. (Ascension Classic users may safely play Kelsey-TOB, but his "Ascension-aware" module should not be installed.)

Kelsey-TOB represents the culmination of over a year of hard work on behalf of myself, Jesse Meyers, and numerous creative souls, testers, and well-wishers. I hope you enjoy making Kelsey part of your complete BG2 gaming experience.

Heh. Well, what remains to do? Expect Kelsey to show his face in projects like Banter Packs, but aside from tweaks and translations and so forth, Kelsey is pretty much... done.

I'm moving on to focus on my Bioware NPC flirt packs and the de'Arnise Romance. In the meantime, you play Kelsey-TOB.

I didn't include banter for Valen, Solaufein, or Tashia, no. (Chloe isn't out, no point worrying about that yet.) While I like the Solaufein banter I did in SOA I didn't really do it collaboratively enough with Wes, but rather than take the time to do that for the TOB distro, I decided to put such things off for the stand-alone Banter Packs I'll work on.

Ohhh... That's a shame... A lot of people use these NPC's, especially Sola...
And both Kelsey and Sola have a well developed personality, i think banter will be appropriate. Then again, nobody's perfect - Kelsey (both SoA and ToB) is great as he is.

That is by NO MEANS a slur on your npc.. In fact, its vere vere refreshing to play with somone who isnt utterly riddled with mental issues that me (The pc) Must sort out

he/she is after all, a Bhaalspaw, not a freakin Phycologist

Sorry, im ranting... Kelsey has a place in all my games, if not for a romance or sorcerous backup,

Its sometimes nice to just cut his throat and steal that cloak

You may find his TOB dialogues a little "spicier."
