The Joy of the Murder Trial

Post by Rheomyr »

Don't know about you guys, but I really enjoyed the so-called murder trial in ch3, mainly due to the dialogues. As a defense attorney (very appropriate career for a rogue) I was given a chance to freely communicate with the eyewitnesses and the members of the jury (!?!) in the drinking house (!?!), mercenary barraks and other respectable places where I could ... ahem... persuade them or otherwise affect their opinion.
Talking to the tribe wise-woman, a member of the jury, was especially remarkable. First, she admitted that she did not understand the meaning of the word "represent" as well as the whole trial procedure because of the vast cultural differences. It's OK, no problem. However, she quite professionally used such words as "stereotype", "return verdict" etc. afterwards which made her previous claim of her total ignorance of the legal system questionable. The whole dialogue is absolutely hilarious if you keep in mind who you are talking with. :D

The only thing this trial is lacking is tabloid press.
:D
May you find me worthy of your attention, outlander.

We're watching you, scum!
