Using Modules and a SP char

I have a question : see, I am in the midst of the official SP campaign but found some interesting modules, I´d like to play with my campaign character. I know that I can char save him and then start a new module with the exported char, but can I also play a module and then reappear (with XP, items, whatever) in the original campaign, right where I left it ? If so, how can this be done ?

One other thing : I play the German version of NWN but often encounter either English texts or sometimes even English dialogue (Aribeth´s English voice sucks, btw, the German is far better).
However, I´d like to play in English, if possible, so my question is if there is a way to play in English since texts and audio seems to be on the CD anyway ?

I don't think this can be done, you cannot import back your character at any point of the campaing chapters. You can only start each chapter from the beginning assuming you've unlocked them.

As long as you have a saved game where you left off in the official campaign you can reload it any time. The other modules that you are using the same character in does not overight any changes to your character on your official campaign save. In effect they become two separate character files.
