I consider it hilarious that people make fun of Canadian accents (we have more fun with it then the people who make fun of us). ;)
Excellent. :) I bet like 10 people from Canada said "aboot" and everyone here thought everyone from Canada speaks like that. You know, the only people that Ive heard say "aboot" are Americans poking fun at Canadian accents.

In addition to our accents, we love fooling people into believing that we all live in igloo's and such... Scary thing is, some people believe us. :D :D

I love how gullible certain people are. :D
I loved it when my cousin and Grandfather made their trip up here in Massachusetts from their native country of Panama. And this was in December and January. They got to see snow for the first time in their lives and they had such fun. But what I felt was bad was they thought even if it was winter here, but the sun was shining, that they assumed it was warm outside. They tried to walk for about a mile outside, because they thought it was warm out-turns out that it was about 35 degrees F. They lasted about 2 minutes and ran inside. :D I tried to warn them, but they truly thought it was going to be warm out. Fortunetly they didnt catch a cold or anything.

Now lets see......I guess that was a story but it was still SPAM. Sorry. :D

LOL!

A Canadian satire tv show called This hour has 22 minutes put out a special show a little over a year ago, called Talking to Americans. It was basically designed to show some of the ignorence some Americans have about the subject of Canada, and makes it hilarious. The creator/interviewer Rick Mercer went around and asked Americans about what they thought about Canadian things, like Toronto reforming the Toronto polar bear hunt, the Russian invasion into Saskatchewan, how Canada is on a 20 hour clock, how the majority voted to put old folks on ice flows and leave them to perish, and much more. They even got some govenor's from some states fooled, as well as some professors from Princeton and Harvard. :D :D :D

It was a complete riot, and a lot Canadians have seen it. And laughed about it. :D

You ever hear about or watch the movie "Canadian Bacon"? It basically does the same thing as the sitcom. It wasnt the best movie but it had some good moments. Its basically about America deciding to make the US citizens become afraid of the Canadians and convince them that there is going to be a war between the 2 countries. The movie starred John Candy.

No, I haven't heard of that movie. I'll try and remember to watch it, though. :)

If you like Americans getting lost in Canada, making fools of themselves, and knowing next to nothing about true Canadian culture, I think you will like the movie. :D

I am beginning to wonder about the purpose behind Weasel's information gathering session, here. Anybody?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I always wonder what Weasel is up to, but I figure the fastest way to find out is to play along and see where it leads.

Plus, I'm on the other side of the planet, so I'm mostly safe. :D

IIRC the last time Weasel posted a topic with a "respond now, you'll find out why later", a number of respondents found that their souls had been stolen. Fortunately Buck was alerted in time and made him give them all back.

I'm game for a shot though. Naturally, I speak with a real bonzer, bloody bewdy, Australian accent.

Yeah, and there's another time he asked as to answer yes/no for a question. A few hours later, we realised he changed the topic title to "Weasel for King" or something tipical of Weasel. His "kingdom" was collapsed by the Revolution, mainly led by female (we got guts, intelligence, will, ability and beauty to stand up against the usurper, unlike male members who bit their nail and went quiet :p ) within 5 hours. :D

G'Day Minerva. It's been a while.

I still have an uneasy suspicion about any Weasel posted topic, however.

Time will no doubt reveal his purpose. Perhaps we're all signing up to buy a set of encyclopaedias or something.

You are not the only one... :D

Well, I'm not surprised if he wrote the "encyclopaedia of the tyrants in the world history" and publised it by Weasel himself... Having said that, he prefers trick all of us to take part in his world domination scheme unwittingly, rather than selling encyclopaedias, I think. :D

LOL. If Weasel wants my soul he must be desperate, it'll corrupt even him. :D

A revolution?! Even better, against weasel? And I missed it... :(

Next time there's a revolution here (in particular against Weasel), please let me know @Minerva.
