Mist killing

Post by Firinflablaze »

Is there any point to killing balls of mist and vampire bats? It doesn't give any xp, and can screw up the game if you kill bodhi's bat. Is this simply a mistake the programmers left in?

No, the mists usually just try and get out of view to disapear.

Bats can be slightly different, not sure what the script is for when vampires are beat down and turn into bats, as sometimes they'll move away and then turn back into vampires and other times they'll just disapear.

And since they are invulnerable to physical assault and don't give XP I never bother with them.

There's no point in killing mists and bats.

The only way to permanently kill a vampire is to stake its coffin. The game gives you the opportunity to do so in several cases. There are other cases where the game doesn't give you the chance to do that; I guess it isn't practical.

So when you kill a mist or vampire bat, how does it come back to life? Isn't killing mist kind of... permanent?
(or do they then mutate into mad rampaging cows that rush to their coffins?

The mist just dissapears, but the bats fly away and heal then comes back to kill.
