Couple questions

Post by AntiChrist »

I don't know if I'm gonna buy this game or not (never bought the first one). So I have a few questions:

1. Would you recommend this game based on the first one? I do tend to like dungeon crawls, so I think I'll like this.

2. A question about dual wielding. Does a ranger and dual classing have the same restrictions as they do in NWN. Do you have to use a smaller weapon and wear light armor? Cause that sucks...

3. Do you still create your whole party like the first one?

4. Compared to NWN, how close is it to 3rd Edition rules overall? Are there any major differences?

That's all for now. I may come up with more later.
I need a sig.

Although i havn't gotten that far yet on the 1st Icewind Dale, i say it's a good game, and this sequel is just gonna rock.
As for question 2, yes you do have to wear light armour to keep the duall-wielding bonus.
And question 3 is also a yes.
Can't help you with question 4 though... sorry.

1. Yes, definitely.
2. Don't know.
3. Yes, you create your whole party in the beginning.
4. I think it's at least as close, but it's only my opinion - not sure about it.

As far as i know the rules are pretty much the same or similar, but there will probably be differences in the implentation of the rules between the two games.
