Well done CE, you've just posted the 300,000th post on these forums (not counting all the deleted ones/Goody/all that other old stuff)(EDIT - or perhaps indeed counting them - there is a discrepancy of a couple thousand between the post number and the number of posts...just in case that makes sense to anyone

).

Oh, and there are certain forums that you need the CD key for, and others that you don't...

I predicted this would happen to NWN online aspect within a month or two of it being released. I think I hit it right on the nose. Anyway, I found the post and topic rather sad, to see just how quickly the online aspect died down, and turned into 3D Diablo. Oh well...

Yes a few teenagers are not playing nicely. But, this happens with every game. *shrugs* What I 'got' from reading that same forum thread was that there were many people interested in playing this game for the roleplaying aspect and ONE jerk interested in just hack and slash. SO, no, I didn't get the feel from the linked thread that it HAS turned into a 3D Diablo because of the number of older people contributing to the discussion about the merits of roleplay.

its funny that they think themselves 'higher beings' than us NERDs when they say that any old person(i.e. any one above the age of 21) is a pompus Nerd that should go do "Old People stuff" and leave the game playing for us Diable 2 freaks that like to run around and kill everything.

I'm just glad that not all teenagers are like that, it'd be a shame if these sorts of people were the only ones to continue playing RPGs when the "Old people" eventually stop, for whatever reasons.
Though I still think MikeDike was just trolling, there are people who genuinely feel that way.

I'm also that much more thankful to Buck and the mods for keeping GB the way it is, ie. without these sorts of threads.

yea im also thankfull that they didnt sign the forums up to flashlink also such GREAT mods
