Quick recap of all that happened.
Ode changed the avator, which was a veru neat idea to Mars.
Then Beldin took Mars for fun.
Then i switched to Tybs for an hour or so, while Beldin then took McBanes, Georgis and Tybs. Last i saw it was back to his original.
Then Logic took the flaming skull, and it seems craig has it as well now.
That about it.
All this in a space of 2 hours.

That's more or less it, for your convenience I'll recap a bit more. Fas has already done an admirable job, though.
I borrowed Mah's avatar, largely to see how people would deal with it but also (I have to admit) because it would irritate Aqua-chan, which has become a bit of a pet-project of mine.I've little doubt I'll tire of it soon, but in the meantime it's fun winding her up.
Beldin copied Mah's avatar briefly. Tybaltus told everyone not to copy his avatar, so Beldin copied a mirrored version of his instead, while Fas copied his avatar straight off.
Then, as many things I start have a habit of doing, things got a bit out of hand, and Beldin went on a copying spree, adopting not only avatars but also personality traits of the people whose avatars he was copying. His Sleep impression was classic, BTW, had me in stitches. Viv got protective of AC, who just got freaked out, and turned to McB for legal help in protecting AC. Beldin seems to have settled on adopting Georgi's avatar for the week, and I have no doubt the Rolling Thunder is going to be plagued by a Georgi/Beldin for the week...
I stuck to Mah's avatar all along, and I'm chnging it again next week.

@Fas-lol,Logic and Craig have ended up with yours? :D And Frogus took ACs? :D

Pretty good summary. You forgot that Frogus stole AC's avatar. And Logic stole Fas' avatar.

Let me ask you something, Ode. Did you think that these would be the repucussions of your avatar actions? Its strange how you became a trend setter in one day and managed to turn a day completely upside down on the forum. You were the topic of the day, arent you proud? I have nothing against it, and had some fun with it too. I aim to think that this avatar ordeal will eventually blow over and things will gradually turn to normal. I also assume youve had plenty of fun over this whole thing.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

That happened after I left.

Not really, I was anticipating some confusion and a little bit of chaos when people realized I'd done something which no-one else had thought to do before, but the results were beyond anything I'd dared hope, even topping Beldin, Eehardt and my own DF takeover bid.
I enjoy shaking up the forum every now and then, it keeps things from getting too much the same. There was a few weeks a while back where no-one really cared much, because it was all just the same old same old, so Beldin, Eerhardt and I figured we'd shake things up a little bit from time to time.
Am I proud? Not really, proud isn't the right word, but it was one of the more amusing days on SYM I've seen so far.
Glad you had some fun too, and I think you're right, after a few days it'll all blow over, and things will be more or less back to normal again. I didn't set out to cause lasting chaos, just some temporary excitement. ;)
I do think, though, that many SYMians will remember the events of yesterday for quite a while, before forgetting again, mind you. :D

@Logic-I know, I checked it. I don't know whether to be proud or to be embarassed... :D :o

@Sleep, Ysh and my fellow debaters: I realise now that 2000 words is actually very long, and that is most likely will exceed the character limit of 10000 chars. Take a look at the extract below, that contains 1477 words and is 9900 chars. (I will remove the post later, we can use it to decide whether 2000 words is really a suitable limit, or if we should shorten it.)

Point taken, maybe 1000 would be more applicable?

I am alright with that, we will just have to get the opinion of Ysh, several things thought pop to mind one of whic is one doesn't necessarily have to reach that number of words for a concerted arguement, if anything it would be better to have a shorter answer that doesn't end up waffling :) What are your thoughts on the length CE and other debaters?

1000 looks OK to me :) A real post will of course also be more reader friendly than the block of text I pasted in.

I will probably write a short post whatever the limit is, I usally run out of things to say after a sentace or two... So It doesnt matter that much for me, but if it would I would like a lower limit than 1k, perhaps 0.3 - 0.5 or so..
