It's you and me both Georgi It's a horrible pop song really But I could name a few even worse that I like...
All the things you know you should hate - but don't.
I havnt heard their latest album, but the reviews i've got from people i trust says it sucked. Favourite song is difficult, probably non-stop violence or Burning heretic. Favourite album must be either Soli Deo Gloria or The Apopcalyptic Manifesto - cant make up my mind there either.
Yes, I can tell.![]()
Their most recent CD took me a couple weeks to start to like. Its not as addictive as the other CD's theyve made, though. I liked about 3 tracks on the CD. The rest werent awful, but they werent anything to phone home about.
Another ApB song I forgot to mention was Spiritual Reality. I liked that song a lot aswell. If you like ApB, you should look into Spahn Ranch too, especially their CD called Beat Noir. Good stuff.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

OK then-back to the topic, I guess.
I know I should hate the Sega Genisis because its so outdated, but the games for it are classics. I still play sonic the hedgehog now and again along with an F1 racing simulation on the Genisis, and I have great fun playing it.

OMG! I forgot about The Jungle Book. I can't stand any other Disney movies but I'm a sucker for that one.Originally posted by Georgi
I don't especially like Disney movies, but I have a soft spot for The Lion King (it's sooo sad when Mufasa dies!) and The Jungle Book.![]()
This one is so terrifying that I can't bring myself to post it visibly... I actually think MmmBop by Hanson is a great pop song.

I must admit to jumping to "Jump around" on several occasions in my youf. There is nowt wrong with liking Method Man or Wu Tang, they aren't really in the same category as others...they seem to have talentOriginally posted by C Elegans

I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
*Sigh*
I have a whole collection of those rap albums, all collecting dust now. From the really early stuff (NWA) to the mid 90's (Naughty by Nature) to the whole East Coast, West Coast rubbish. I never did consider myself to be an angry person in my youth, but I guess thats the impression that was portrayed

Call yourself liberal, open-minded and willing to experiment if you will @CE, but Cypress Hill are just ****. They make extremely bad music indeed, I can say no more. Wu Tang are difficult to judge, the quality of their output being so varying, but I can safely say that Snoop Dogg is also appalingly bad.@Humanflyz: Yay, I loved NWA, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Method Man, Ice Cube, Snoop Doggy Dog, Wu Tang clan... *sigh* Now Fable will never speak to me again
@Silur, Total Recall is considered a great classic by many (IIRC wasn't that a PKD book adaptation too?), and although Last Action Hero was hammered by critics when it came out it now frequently gets five star ratings...
BTW - Ooooh can't wait for True Lies 2!

Oh sure, so he got out the Crayola and coloured himself white just so that he'd have a head-start in record sales?Originally posted by Georgi
The fact that he's white is a gimmick to try and get people to think that he's different![]()

Oh...I loved the Lion King. The only thing that spoiled it in the cinema for me was this 18-year old girl sitting next to me who cried when that $£*! Mufasa finally copped it...Originally posted by Georgi

Don't be ashamed - I confessed to the Teletubbies, and that's far worse...but yes, I still like Mmm-bop
EDIT - I agree with frogus - Totall Recall is a classic, but I love so many other Arnie films...erk and Jean-Claude Van Damme has made some decent action flicks too, dare I say it...

Hmmm...Airplane! is considered a classic, is it not? Haven't seen any other ZZA movies...Wild Wild West, while not being the greatest movie Hollywood has ever produced, wasn't all that bad...not of Battleship Earth standard by any means. Entertaining to see once, if only so that you know what the fuss was about...

Wild, Wild West wasn't a Zucker film, as I recall.

While I dont watch Sesame Street anymore, I do have a place in my heart for the characters. Same thing with the Muppets, they are as classic as Sesame Street
As far as Disney is concerned: The only movie I liked from them has been the Lion King. Everything else turns a supposed-to-be-sad-ending and turns it into a happy ending, and I dont really like that.

@The Z-In my grade 12 Dictators class, we watched movies such as The Fight Club, Office Space, and Life to demonstrate Dictators in the media. It was fun to watch such movies in school

I was only 14 when it came out I think...
Yay! Go MmmBop!
@Tybby But Jungle Book's ending is actually kind of sad, I think...
No, Dr Dre probably thought up the plan and then went out looking for a young white guy to turn into his protege...Posted by Kammy

Thats a good song. After House of Pain broke up, Everlast made a song that I liked a lot. Dont remember the title, though.
