Worst TV of all time

Post by Tybaltus »

Well I recently read a tv guide magazine that had the 50 worst TV shows of all time. I know that it was somewhat opinion based and there were certain shows that I thought of that didnt make the list.

What I want to know is: What is the tv show that you hated the most?

sitcoms, gameshows, sports shows, are all welcome-basically anything that isnt movies, because movies are different and a whole other topic to talk about.

Ill get the ball rolling with my opinion.
There was a gameshow on ABC that was called "The Chair". It was a gameshow based on a contestants heartbeat. If it went above a certain heartrate, then the person would lose money and no questions could be asked. If the person got under the heartrate then the person could answer questions and if they correctly answered the questions, then the contestant wins money. The game ends when the contestant is out of money or steps off the chair. This was a geniunely awful gameshow and increadibly boring to watch.

There are a few others I have in mind, but Ill let others voice their opinions

BTW-This is my first thread on SYM so I hope it succeeds :D

Probably would have went over better if they had actually given someone the chair on it. :D

Wosrt thing I have ever seen on T.V. (besideds golf) was probably that old sit com  full house. I hated it, every aspect of it. Bob Saget has never been even remotilt amusing to me. And Jesse in a rock band? I vomit to think of it. :D

If you dont know already, TV guide voted the worst show of all time was Jerry Springer, so you agree with the critics, Weasel.

One show that I laughed at, at being one of the 50 worst shows was "Barney and Friends". TV guide put it at the 50th worst show

@Bloodstalker-I completely forgot about that sitcom. Yeah that was a pretty bad one, you might aswell put saved by the bell under the same catagory.

The original Star Trek series has to be up there, IMO: insufferably preachy, pretentious, badly acted (William Shatner!), predictable...I'm shuddering, just thinking about watching that stuff when it first appeared.

I Love Lucy. Talk about an obnoxious, overdone character...! As some critic once pointed out, by the 1980s many of the people who recorded the original laughtracks used over and over in her series were dead, and it was appropriate.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

My parents loved Star Trek....I had to suffer! :(

I Love Lucy-I couldn't listen to Lucy's whining! Poor Ricky! :p

The only reason I managed to endure all 64 original ST episodes is the fact that I'm a Trekkie. Otherwise, I'd be insane right now... :D
