Update program

Has anyone had the NWN update program state that "no connection to the internet found or patch server down?" It's very irritating. The only issue I have that may be different from most others is that I'm on a LAN, but that didn't come up before (I had to reinstall the program since then, and before the reinstall, it updated just fine).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I just downloaded the Update patch 1.07, just in case that would fix it. Nope.

Is that LAN you mentioned maybe protected by a firewall? If it is, this could be the reason.

You could try to manually install the patch

I had the same problem (sorta) when I first installed the game. The 'update' utility spazzed-out and gave me an error message every time I would attempt to use it. I've since reinstalled the game and the update worked fine *shrug*.

I'm on a router-linked LAN myself and I have both hardware and software firewalls so I don't think that's the problem (can't be sure though). If you can't get the updater to function properly, you could dl the manual patch (34mb) from:
