Irenicus is an NPC in Throne of Bhaal!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, I'm wondering what the top picture is. Never seen it.
And I bet the 2nd portrait is the wild-mage. Although it looks really cool for some undead type creature.
Of course, Bioware may not have to play by all the rules, but the portraits look like an evil party w/ Montaron and Viconia - so maybe that's not the mystery new pc.
As for my vote, I'd go with elminster. It ought to be someone of sufficient power. Heck, maybe they made Boo into a real life character.

Are you implying that Boo isn't a real life character? I can assure you, he's far more real than you or I. Such blasphemous words will not be further tolerated.

I think it is either Saemon Havarian or Solufein. You might think that Saemon betrayed you, but then he betrayed you before, so it might be him!
Or maybe it is Alaundo himself!!! (forgive me if he's dead)

Volo, for example.Originally posted by Drakron Du´Dark:
I like to point out that Elmister image was used in the first stages of BG II during the time that the engine was being refined.
Now guess who S.A. Salvarore character show in BG I. (besides Drizzt)
Note, there is also a character in both, IMHO, who does absolutely nothing save waiting, say, a ship.
Correct me, if i'm wrong.

BTW, actually it is. When i investigated the stats of monsters, i run into Boo, too. However, it might be as Minisc's familiar, those were represented, too.Originally posted by Dúnadan:

But there is one small problem - familiars are in main inventory not in quick items slots - even they cannot be moved from one place to another in the inventory, so it could mean that Boo is only an item (like Imoen's belt in chap.1). What is more, he couldn't be released like other familiars - but I hope that guys from Bioware would do something in this matter.
New NPC in ToB ? I agree with others that think about Saemon Havarian - He is very funny guy - betrays you twice, escapes but I cannot hate him - he could be alternative for Yoshimo (only one pure thief in game that dies whatever you do).

Hmm...Hmmm...how can I put this carefully?
...OK, here goes:
Gorion does play a part in Throne of Bhaal. In fact, you learn quite a bit about him, as well as yourself.
Beyond that, I'm not sayin'.

@The_Pope: Gorion supposedly died in Baldur's Gate.....if they had thought of bringing him back why didn't he appear in BG2-SoA???? I guess in the "Forgotten Realms" though this wouldn't be impossible.....I mean Gorion coming back from the dead.......
