I'm playin a Cleric and doin good so far
Currently i'm lvl 7, half elf, chaotic good and wonderin 'bout continuing as Cleric or multiclassing ...
What's your advice and eventually which class do you suggest ?
My stats are as follow:
str: 14
dex: 8
con: 14
int: 10
wis: 17
cha 14
I was thinkin 'bout the ranger but not sure ...
Tnx in advance to any1 spendin a couple mins to help me out
A sharp mind easily smites a sharp blade. Ylossakram, Archlich Inquisitor.
I would lvl him as fighter, you can use all fighter weapons, wich is really nice for a cleric char. (You can even use Bows)
I did not play a cleric in NWN but the cleric classes always have decent buffing spells, what makes a fighter cleric even more efficient.
In BG2 and TOB my cleric fighter always rocked the house, he was the guy to do the tough jobs, like destroying Adamandite and Iron golems.
A fighter cleric is one of the most powerfull class combos in D&D if you ask me.
With each kill, I grow wiser, and with added wisdom, I grow stronger.

I give some bonus you can get from other classes also concidering that you are losing cleric levels.
Losing level 20: 1 level 8, 1 level 9 spell
Losing level 19: 1 level 5, 1 level 7, 1 level 9 spell
Level 1 of a fighter gives you:
1. One more feature e.g. the weapon specialisation which adds 2 points of damage (equals 4 points of strength)
2. 2 more HP than a cleric
Level 1+2 of a fighter gives you:
1. 2 features
2. 4 more HP than a cleric
3. 1 more fort save
4. 1 less will save
Level 1 of a Rogue gives you:
1. Lots of skill points
2. Able to use all magic weapons, e.g. monk shoes
3. Able to cast all arcane scrolls and wands
4. 1d6 sneak attack
5. 2 more reflex save
6. 1 less will and fort save
7. -1 to attack
8. 2 less HP
Level 1 of a Paladin gives you:
1. 2 more HP than a cleric
2. Divine Grace: Charisma modifier as a bonus to all saving throws
3. 2 more HP than a cleric
4. 1 more fort save
5. 1 less will save
So I would go for 1 level Rogue and make use of all the scrolls in the game.
Tnx guys! Especially to Amidala providing an outstanding exhaustive reply!
I'm considering the rougue lvl but was wondering 'bout the fact that i'm goin with Milo 'cause of his ability to find and disarm traps and to pick locks ... will i be able to make his job and change henchman with just 1 rougue lvl ?
Tnx in advance!

1 level rogue is not enough to get decent skills in search, trap disarming, and open locks.
However there is a trick if you want to do the job by yourself.
1. Save yourself skill points every druid level (maybe all)
2. If you reach e.g. level 10 select the rogue and invest max points into search (13)
3. You could wear the moon stone mask for another 5 points in search
This should be enough to detect the traps in search mode.
If you detect a trap on the floor avoid it, if you encounter a trapped chest shoot it open like all the other locked chests.
Mind that you need skills in use magic item if you want to use those etc... (check manual)
