Hey everyone,
I was intrigued. I saw a post by Mysty in the NwN forum about she ordered an English-version and paid more for it. Why do this? I'm really intrigued...
Thanks

Just out of idleness, I can perceive a few possible reasons:
1) Desire to better her understanding of English.
2) Plenty of English knowledge. Desire to escape bad translations, as Tamerlane suggests. Although I imagine the translation of NWN would be handled meticulously.
3) Inability to acquire the Japanese version soon enough. Maybe there weren't enough copies made, and nothing is expected to show up for a while. Impatience is a wonderful factor in life. There's nothing like giving the finger to Entropy.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Re: Re: English Version Games?
1) It's a nice side-effect.
2) It just sounds better in English. Besides, in my case, I'm unable to buy it in my mother tongue anyway.
3) Erm, no.
4) I don't have to worry about translating into English when I want to talk about it in here as it is already in English.
