Couple questions pls

Post by Ylossakram »

I'm havin problems storing stuff ... the Enchmen can't take anythin and my inventory alone can't hold all that i wish (weight prob), so my first question:
1) Have you find a place/way to store stuff permanently (without disappearing) ?

The other question is:
2) Is there any use for gems (apart from diamonds ;) ) or shall i sell'em with no regreat ? Pls try not to spoil if possible answerin this one :p

Tnx in advance guys! :D

1.) Not so far. I *think* if you find a chest or bookcase at your base (temple in ch1 - still on ch1 so not sure if that changes) and put something in it - it should stay there. I never have tested it for sure though. Might want to test it out.

2.) Besides diamonds or other quest gems - not that I have found. But again, I am still early in the game so I dont know if that changes later or not. Perhaps someone who has played longer can tell ya for sure.

I am pretty sure contents of any chest will stay there - I stored some stuff in the refugee shelter behind the hall of justice in the first level for at least a week and it didn't go anywhere. One important note though: I don't want to spoil anything much but lets just say nobody stays in one city forever and it might be inconvenient or even impossible to return if you did have to leave ;)

As for carrying stuff, the best thing to do is get magic bags and bags of holding - you can find these around at different stores. They are expensive but they can increase your carrying capacity to an amazing degree. I currently have 7 magic bags and 2 bags of holding, and I can go through level after level without running out of capacity (although I do sometimes pass up a nonmagical suit of armor or greataxe at the point in the game where the 50 gold is not going to help me much).
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....
