Quickbar and Dual-Wielding

Post by Magus »

I'm going to have a fighter with super-high dexterity, making him good at both dual-wielding and the longbow. Thus I want to be able to switch easily and quickly between the two swords and the longbow. However, the quickbar doesn't want to cooperate. Let's say you have the bow equipped, and the two swords in two separate quickslots. If you select either quickslot, it equips the sword in it. Then if you select the other one, it equips that sword. However, it won't ever equip both at once. Is there some way to get around this, or another way to switch easily between a missle weapon and two melee weapons?

it says how to use the quick bar while dual-weild in the manual. First you equip the weapons on the inventory screen, then you drag the first weapon down to one of the quick bar slots then you drag the other weapon down to the SAME quick bar slot and you're done. Next time you select that slot both weapons will be equiped.

Hmm...I read the whole thing and don't remember seeing it. In fact, I looked through again and still couldn't find it, even with a search on the online version! But thanks! It helps tremendously when you switch during and after almost every battle...

Aye, you put the weapon in the right hand first and then the left hand. Then when you move your cursor over the slot is should say "Longsword/Shortsword" The first one being in your right and the second in your left.

Can't remember if it says so in the manual, but it do say it in the "load-tips" :)

Sword and shield can also be done like this. Stack em in the hotkey to equip both at once. Really nice if switching out from bow or weapons alot.
