For all of those who care John Entwistle died today (the day before the opening of the Who's latest tour). He was a great bass player who defined the power of the bass in Rock n Roll in the Sixties. He was the basis of the sound of my favorite band(the Who) and this was my first oppurtunity to see them but that is a simple problem that is rather selfish. My condolences to his family and I am sorry to any who play the instrument and havent heard of him.
I read this today too word. A sad day indeed. It was ironic, listening to a local radio station play a promo ad for the upcoming tour hours after I read of his death. Long Live Rock.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
@Ned It was extremely ironic and bitter as the Who seemed to be reuniting putting out an album and all that. It also saddens me that at the same time I feel sorry for his passing I am also mad that I will now never get the chance to see them and I feel guilty bout it.
