If you could transform yourself into a mythical creature, which would it be? :)

I think I would enjoy being a phoenix.

Make that two votes for the phoenix. :) In old Kiev-Rus folk tales it's the Tsar Pzita, the King of the Birds, gifted with enormous wisdom, knowledge of all tongues, great magic and the ability to regenerate itself anew. Can't beat that. :D
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Im not sure if gods qualify as mythical creatures, but if they do there is plenty to choose from. And I cant really make up my mind right now... :)

A pearl-coloured dragon. I've got the clearest mental image of a pearl-coloured dragon and whenever I feel sad/annoyed I just remember this image and nothing bad seems quite so important anymore.

The dragon is always just about to roast a paladin, though, so it's not necessarily a good dragon, it's just a neutral dragon.

Gotta go with Grasshopper on this one. Dragons have always been a favorite of mine. Hence my Spam Dragon.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Gryphon, or griffin, is the one you're talking about, @Beldin.

Alastar: You do realize that Satyr's spent most of their time CHASING these women, not necessarily cathing them for that good time? ;)

For me...I think a mer person, like a mermaid. I like swimming and just floating in water as it's so peaceful...I would be able to explore the depths and unravel mysteries of the oceans... Plus, for fun, 'sailor taunting'. It's all good :D

To explore the ocean depths would be nice 'tis true, but to fly on wings of pearl would be paradise indeed.

Would they have to chase the nymphs? If not, I think the satyr is an excellent choise. Of course, a golden dragon would be pretty cool as well...

Oh, taunt me! Please, please, taunt me!! (I know you're not really a mermaid, but I'm not really a sailor either so...) :D

Well...wasn't Pan a satyr? He spent all of his time drinking and chasing nymphs who would rather be turned into trees than be with 'a man' (that tree bit was apollo, but the trend remained throughout greek mythology) :) The drinking part is VERY good so I'm in favor of the Satyr as a choice. :)

If only we could put the Greek 'satyr' with the randy BG 'nymph', then he could be happy :)

[taunt] You look like a nice, strong man. It's awful sad your ship can't cross that whirlpool of death to get to us. My sisters and I miss men sooo much and would just love to play with you! Instead, I guess we'll just lie here on this sunny rock spreading oil all over ourselves... *sighs abound* [/taunt]

That's how I imagine mermaids taunt :)

Ode: Yes, I agree, to fly as a dragon would be wonderful. It's the 'eating people' part that I have a problem with. :)

Being a dragon would be cool because of the whole flying, inspiring fear in mortals and fire-breathing thing, but I think that it would be cool to be a roc or kracken.

If gods counted as "mythological creatures", I think it would be cool to Loki or Apollo; I've always thought they had a lot of style.

I'd prefer to be a black dragon or a gold dragon, although being a phoenix also nice since you can reborn from the ashes of fire
