Actually I pretty sure he says step brother (I saw AotC a second time yesterday).

Also is Mace mentioned in any of these books, or are he and others just created recently in Ep. 2?
Mace and most of the new Jedi were create for Episode I.

Our friend Kayless has a far harsher view of the EU than I, so you might ask around for other people's opinions or visit the Jedi Council Forums at theforce.net (click on the Literature forum).

Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I would, but human language has no words to describe the sheer depth of my loathing. Image

StarTrek.com is a pretty good official site. StarWars.com is also pretty good, but a little bit hard to navigate.

The best Star Wars fan site, hands down, is TheForce.net. I'm not sure about Star Trek sites, but if you go to Yahoo! and do a search it will give you some good sites.

I lurk (and occasionally post) at theforce.net's Jedi Council board. They're a bit harsh to newbies, but overall it's a great site.

In addition to the Two Thrawn series' (which, I agree, were the best), I, Jedi is IMHO very good.

What! just now? I saw it my third time 9 days after I saw it the first time!
I saw it on Saturday the 18th at 21:45, then on Sunday the next day at 16:10, then the next week (last week) on Monday the 27th.

Always when I see a movie multiple times at the movie theater I always expect/wait for a few specific scenes. For me they were when Obi Wan saw the clones for the first time, next was the sequence when Anakin gets to Lars' house, leave, and then go crazy and slaughter everyone in the camp, next was when Yoda lands in the arena with the clones, and last were the last three minutes before the credits- just for the music.

Anyway, what were yours? (other than all the scenes with Natalie :rolleyes: )

I'd make a comment on MnMs Natalie Portman story, but Georgi has already summed it up nicely.

@Morlock

Other than the scenes with Natalie? Only one, I'm afraid:

The 20th Century Fox trumpet and drum roll, the immortal "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" line, the moment of silence in the space between, and finally the appearance of the STAR WARS logo to the explosion of John William's score. No matter which epsiode I watch, I experience the same adolescent giddiness.

The scenes I anticipate most are Obi-Wan's fight with Jango Fett on Kamino, Anakin’s dark confession after the Tusken massacre (say what you want about Hayden Christensen in the rest of the movie, but his performance in this scene was perfect), and Yoda's duel with Count Dooku (never fails to blow me away). What I realy like about that is that they haven't changed it in the 2new movies.
Same old lettertype, and same stars in the background.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Well, obviously I meant to put that in, but it slipped my mind. That is the single most anticipated scene in any Star Wars movie for me.
